Zhou Yijun is a writer and documentary director. She was formerly a correspondent based in the Gaza Strip, reporting on wars and social transformations in the Middle East and other global hotspots. She is the author of Life and Death in the Middle East and Out of the Middle East. Zhou is also the director of the documentary Childhood Elsewhere and the host of the cultural chat show Im Schwarm.
