If I have a virtual ticket can I watch the event later?

Most virtual Town Hall-presented events are available for later viewing for up to 5 days after the livestream. The same link that is sent in the confirmation email will take you to the replay of the event.

Our concert series events, like Global Rhythms, tend to only be available for 24 hours after the livestream.

You can double-check the viewing period for livestreamed events both on our ticket purchase path (in the Virtual ticket description) and on the virtual ticket itself in your confirmation email.

Note: Some Town Hall-produced events are only available for livestream during the event; if this is the case, it will be labeled as “One Night Only” in the event description.

Can I watch the event more than once?

Most virtual Town Hall-presented events can be watched multiple times, as long as it’s within the 5-day available viewing window.

Note: For “One Night Only” events, some livestreams may not be available for rewatch.

Where do I find the livestream link?

The link to a virtual event’s livestream is in the confirmation email sent to you after your ticket purchase. Click on the ‘Watch Event’ button to be redirected to the livestream on Town Hall’s YouTube channel.

How do I ask a question during a virtual event?

You can access our online Q&A submission portal by scanning the QR code shared in the pre-show slides leading up to the start of the event or through the URL link posted in the live chat.

Can I switch my virtual ticket to in-person?

Yes! We can switch any in-person tickets to a virtual ticket, and virtual tickets to in-person tickets. Call or email our Patron Services Team at (206) 504-2857 or patronservices@townhallseattle.org, preferably with 24 hour notice.

The livestream hasn't started. What do I do?

The event might not have started yet! The livestream usually begins about 20 minutes before the event starts, with informational slides on current and upcoming events at Town Hall. The event’s video feed does not start until right before the start of the live event. Occasionally, the event, and the video feed along with it, may be delayed.

The screen says 'Technical Issues,' what happens to the livestream now?

Our technical staff work to fix any technical issues before the event begins, and the event may be temporarily delayed doing so.

If a technical issue ever prevents the livestream from working as expected, a new URL link to a different video stream will be shared as soon as our technical staff can manage it. Look for the new link to be posted in the chat box or emailed to your inbox.
