Hello, North America Friends!

I’m Young Moon, and I’m bringing my new stand-up special to North America this September. I wrote most of this show while studying and living in New York. Although the show is performed in Chinese, this North American tour feels more like a locally created production than a Chinese show brought overseas. The special covers my experiences and reflections from the past year in New York, stories from my life in China, and childhood memories. When writing this show, I gave myself three rules: it should be funny, it should be free, and it does not always have to be politically correct. As a result, the show may include provocative or potentially offensive material, as well as mature themes. Please note that “mature content” does not necessarily mean sexual jokes. Audience discretion is advised, and tickets should not be purchased for anyone under 18. I’m turning 33 this year, and I hope this special will bring my “Jesus year” to a close — and the beginning of something new. Thank you, and I hope to see you at the show.
