Trumpeter Thomas Marriott, presents his all-start quartet which includes drummer Roy McCurdy, bassist Eric Revis, and pianist George Colligan to celebrate Roy McCurdy, whose illustrious career has seen him reach legend status.

Born in Rochester, New York, McCurdy went on to study at the Eastman School of Music. Thereafter McCurdy got his career in full swing by working with the Mangione Brothers, the Art Farmer Jazztet, and the Cannonball Adderley Quintet. His jazz journey only got more interesting as time progressed. McCurdy collaborated with numerous remarkable artists including Blood Sweat & Tears, The Pointer Sisters, Sonny Rollins, McCoy Tyner, Stanley Turrentine, Dionne Warwick, Charles Lloyd, Sarah Vaughan, and Ernestine Anderson among many others. As well as continuing to play nationwide, McCurdy works as an adjunct Professor of Jazz Studies at USC Thornton.
