Lady A, a musical prodigy since the age of five, has blossomed into a dynamic force in the world of children’s concerts. With a keen ear for harmony and roots deeply embedded in the Greater Mt. Baker Missionary Baptist Church, Lady A infuses soul, gospel, and a sprinkle of funk into her performances. Her concerts are an inspiring blend of music and storytelling, creating an enchanting atmosphere for young audiences. Lady A, “The Hardest Workin’ Woman in Blues, Soul, Funk, and Gospel” began singing at age five in her Seattle church choir, evolving into a captivating vocalist and storyteller. She was honored as the 2020 and 2021 Best Performer of the Year and 2021 Best Female Vocalist by the Washington Blues Society. With a rich radio history and upcoming shows on the True Grits Radio Network, Lady A is not only a musical powerhouse but also an active community contributor, serving as Chair on the Rhapsody Project board and mentoring Blues in the Schools students.
