Sound Generations presents the first in a series of important community discussions on the challenges faced by older adults navigating our behavioral health systems.
Our Expert Panelists
Traci Adair is a seasoned leader in equity-driven aging and disability services, with extensive experience connecting systems for older adults with behavioral health needs. She currently oversees investments and partnerships that expand access to community-informed services for older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers.
Dr. Someireh Amirfaiz has been a leader in the nonprofit sector for over 25 years. She comes to her work at NAAPR as both an advocate and a mental health professional who has trained clinicians on the provision of culturally responsive mental health services to refugees. She is also a published researcher with a special focus on refugees.
Hazel G. Boado is a nonprofit executive with more than a decade leading equity-centered healthcare and care quality advancement.
In her current role at ACRS, she advances culturally and linguistically responsive care for Asian and NH/PI older adults – integrating strategic planning, operational excellence, and cultural competency.
Mason Lowe has more than 15 years of experience supporting and delivering services to older adults at the Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank. PMSC-FB is a pioneer in offering senior center programming to seniors experiencing homelessness and living on little or no income, with the goal of equitable access to resources for healthy aging.
