Welcome to Seattle, where the coffee is strong and the possibilities are endless! We know that starting fresh in a new place can be as daunting as it is exciting. Whether it’s meeting people who have shared interests, knowing where to get the best taco in town, or simply finding a friendly face in a crowd, settling in takes a village.

That’s why the Chamber of Connection and Town Hall Seattle created Seattle Welcome Day — a day especially for you and the 60,000+ people who move to Seattle each year. Think of it as the launchpad for your new life!

This isn’t your typical orientation—it’s a hands-on, interactive experience designed to help you create your thriving new life in Seattle. You will work with a small group of curated newcomers, guided by professional facilitators, to craft your vision for the next three years and put it into action with the support of our entire newcomer community.

Join us for an upcoming Seattle Welcome Day and look forward to:

Connecting made easy: Meet fellow newcomers and community leaders from all walks of life in a relaxed, welcoming, and facilitated environment.
Space to dream: Design the life you want to build in Seattle and be inspired by the visions of other newcomers who will help you dream bigger.
Fun activities: Engage in interactive sessions that will not only introduce you to the city’s rich culture but will also help you build community. Expect to leave with new friends!

After the completion of Seattle Welcome Day, you will be invited to join the Chamber of Connection’s online community and regular neighborhood meet-ups with your fellow newcomers to support you over your next three years.
