Performers

Headshot of Issa Man (with pink face makeup, white gloves, and red hat/harness)Issa Man

Alaskan grown but settled in Seattle, Issa Man has made a splash in the local drag and burlesque scene! Heavily inspired by her Ghanian roots and all things hyper-femme and hyper-cutesy, Issa is a force to be reckoned with. Catch her at Queer Bar, Massive, and Unicorn most days of the week twirling for dollars!

Headshot of Ricci Armani (with medium skin and short black hair/mustache)

Ricci Armani

Ricci Armani is a Seattle-based stand-up comedian, writer, and podcaster. Ricci has participated in several comedy festivals including Comedy Fort, RIP City Fest, and made semifinals in the Seattle International Comedy Competition. Ricci has opened for many names in comedy including Joe Dombrowski, Matteo Lane, Amy Miller, and more. Described by a local news outlet as having “star quality,” he would love for you to see him and decide for yourself!

Headshot of Faith Vanchu (with fair skin and wavy blonde bob)Faith Vanchu

Seattle vocalist and theatre performer Faith Vanchu is ecstatic to finally perform on the beloved Town Hall stage where she has worked for over two years. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Cornish College of the Arts, and has had the honor of performing with companies such as Tacoma Musical Playhouse, Showtunes Theatre, ACT Theatre – One Coast Collaboration, Village Theatre, Copious Love, and 1448.

Day Soul Exquisite is a 6-piece band from Seattle. Fronted by singer Francesca Eluhu, the QTBIPOC-led band is a mix of neo-soul, psychedelic R&B, and jazz. Drawing inspiration from the London Jazz scene and Afro-Caribbean influences, Day Soul Exquisite’s music brings raucous energy, sweet queer love songs, and defiant responses to oppression. The ensemble features two percussionists, keys, sax, bass and guitars, creating a powerful presence of unique sounds.

Formed during the pandemic, Day Soul Exquisite quickly reached the stages of Timber Fest, Capitol Hill Block Party, and Freakout Festival and will be playing Treefort Fest in Boise, 2024. Their debut EP Sanguine & Cardamom was met with a sold-out release party and charted on the KEXP Top 10 Album list for several consecutive weeks.

Maia Brown

Maia Brown (she/her) is a visual artist, Yiddish musician, writer, translator, and educator. Brown has a background in oral history and fine art, including a Watson Fellowship to study storytelling and advocacy in South Africa and the North of Ireland. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts at Goddard College. She is a dedicated student and teacher of her own tradition as well as the many ways people have reached out to each other across communities.

Janelle Bentley

Janelle Bentley moved from Brooklyn to Seattle three years ago and has since embraced Seattle as her home.
She has a passion for exploring new places, traveling and indulging in the diverse culinary scene of the city. Sharing this content with her significant following on her social media accounts.

She enjoys it when everyone is having a good time and being able to build a community, so being an emcee for this event is the perfect match.
She is absolutely in awe of this opportunity, and hopes to provide nothing but an enjoyable experience.
