Arts & Culture

Weave through new tones of Brazilian Jazz with Trio Brasileiro.

Trio Brasileiro is a Grammy-nominated contemporary Brazilian Jazz ensemble that performs both original compositions and fresh interpretations of Brazilian classics.

With remarkable musicianship and a deep devotion to the language of music, Trio Brasileiro achieves a compelling sound that is equal parts understated subtlety and bone-deep groove. But it is their love of the traditional music of Brazil and the connection between brothers – by birth and by bonds of friendship – that create a very rare and profound beauty.

The trio includes Douglas Lora – a celebrated guitarist and full-time member of the award-winning Brazilian Guitar Duo, Dudu Maia – one of Brazil’s finest mandolin virtuosos, and Drummer/Percussionist Alexandre Lora.

You won’t want to miss this opportunity to open your ears to the expansive, spirited sound of Trio Brasileiro.
