Town Hall Ticketing

Town Hall Seattle partners with Bold Type Tickets to process your ticket and subscription purchases.


Most Town Hall events are $5 or free! Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Cash, and Check are accepted depending on the outlet.

Tickets will always be available at the door for events that are not sold out. If the event page says “Sales ended” it means there will be tickets left.

Please note we do not have a physical box office location.

Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If an event is cancelled, refunds will be issued automatically. If an event is postponed, refunds will be offered in lieu of attending the postponed event.

When purchasing tickets, you will choose either will-call or print-at-home as your delivery option. If you choose will-call, check-in at the event using your last name. If you choose print-at-home, bring your tickets with you (either printed or on your phone) and we will scan or collect it at the door.

Please arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes prior to the program to guarantee seating. Most events at Town Hall are general admission seating and early arrival is encouraged. This is especially important for sold-out events where we will be assessing standby seating capacity just prior to the program. Please note, some events may not allow late entry. All late seating is subject to the discretion of the House Manager and/or the limitations of the specific program.

When an event at Town Hall sells out, there is often an opportunity to get day-of tickets by waiting in a standby line. If there are open seats prior to the start of an event, we will offer them to the standby line on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Though we cannot guarantee these tickets, patrons who wait in line often have good luck getting in to our events. Lines typically form an hour or so before the event begins.
  • You must be actively waiting in line to take advantage of these tickets. There is no wait list.
  • If you have mobility concerns you may have another member of your party wait in line for you, but you must be present when we begin to sell tickets. Ask our staff for a chair if you need one!
  • Cash is strongly preferred for standby sales due to time constraints.
