Town Music: The Final Cello-bration
Joshua Roman and Friends Present a Night of Cello Mastery

In his final concert as Artistic Director, Joshua Roman reunites with friends from the Seattle Symphony cello section and beyond for a toast to Town Music. Letting us peer into his “musical journal,” Roman shares a new chapter in his growth as a composer and human artist. Bask in the heavenly glow of a wordless soprano in Villa-Lobos’s Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5, and experience the grounded intensity of a mid-century modern Cello Quartet by Poland’s Grażyna Bacewicz, filling the Great Hall with the palpable reverberations we’ve all been longing to feel.
