In the spirit of Earth Day, join Town Hall and the Black Farmers Collective for a Day of Service at Yes Farm. Join your fellow environmentally conscious Seattleites to help this community grow and flourish during their first spring. Volunteers will help with composting and removal of invasive plants, as well as creation of growing spaces for starters and seeds and cultivation of flowers, pollinators, and vegetables. Join us for an afternoon of urban gardening to help a brand new farm get started strong and become a thriving community resource!
Students and families are welcome! Volunteers under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle. Event will take place rain or shine so please dress appropriately for the weather. Town Hall will provide water and light snacks. Note: This event ends at 12:00pm.
