The Moth presents The Seattle GrandSLAM, a battle of wits and words – fierce, hilarious, heartbreaking and all points between.

The Moth is dedicated to finding intriguing people to tell inspired stories. At The Moth StorySLAM, those people find us. On this night they compete to determine The Moth’s Seattle GrandSLAM Story Champion.

The host for the evening is Yolanda Suarez. Yolanda has been performing since she was 12 years old. She has performed all over the United States with Living Voices, the founding member of two local favorite improv groups in Seattle and has a small part in a movie starring Jennifer Aniston and Steve Zahn. These days she is happily producing StorySLAMs and binging watching documentaries.
