Instead of dinner parties in beautiful houses across the city, Talk of the Town is coming home. Join us for a party spanning every floor of our newly renovated building! Be among the first to explore a new (and familiar) Town Hall as you enjoy artful conversation, delectable dining, and phenomenal entertainment.

The evening’s entertainment begins with musician, comedian, and Town Hall’s very first Artist-in-Residence Ahamefule Oluo. He teams up onstage with lyricist and performer okanomodé, backed by a band hand-picked by Oluo. This incredible duo joins us to reprise hits from Ahamefule’s lauded pop-opera Now I’m Fine, as well as debut new material from his upcoming show.
Then the festivities continue with another former Town Hall Artist-in-Residence—Tomo Nakayama. Lauded for his complex, nuanced, and emotionally compelling music, Tomo recorded his debut album Fog On The Lens during his Residency. Now he returns to Town Hall’s stage for a performance to celebrate how far both he and Town Hall have come.
Dinner will be prepared by returning favorite Talk of the Town chef and James Beard Award-winner John Sundstrom, owner of the incredible local restaurants Lark, Bitter/Raw, and Slab Sandwiches and Pie. Learn more about Sundstrom.
Albacore tartare, ponzu, green onion and ginger; Petit Pomerol, fig jam, walnut crisp; Buckwheat potato blini, smoked salmon, capers; Pork tenderloin, mustard cream, rosemary cracker
First Course: White salad: fennel, frisee, endive, celery, Pecorino, truffle vinaigrette.
Main Course: Neah Bay halibut, green garlic, English peas, pancetta, asparagus, lemon or Potato gnocchi with green chickpea basil pesto, with grilled broccolini, pine nuts and Parmigiano Reggiano (vegetarian).
Dessert: Strawberry vanilla cake, rhubarb, cinnamon basil custard sauce.
