This forum with the candidates running for state superintendent of public instruction will focus on improving outcomes for students with disabilities or social, emotional, and behavioral differences. The superintendent is responsible for envisioning and fostering schools that are inclusive, diverse, and welcoming to all children. Will the next superintendent be successful in reforming our schools and creating a system that is responsive to the whole child? Come talk with the candidates—Erin Jones and Chris Reykdal—about their plans to ensure that all students and families receive the support they need. Join the conversation to let them know what you hope to see from the next superintendent of schools.

Moderating this discussion is Dr. Ilene Schwartz, University of Washington professor of early childhood and special education.
