Dark nights, unrequited love, and a certain legend about a disembodied equestrian make for a rousing evening of spooky radio drama. Starring KIRO Radio’s Dave Ross, KING 5’s Jim Dever, Almost Live! legend Tracey Conway and a haunted house full of local radio all-stars, with live music and sound effects performed on stage. In this loose adaptation of Washington Irving’s classic tale, the action is set in the Pacific Northwest on the eve of World War II.
Produced and directed by Feliks Banel, Seattle Radio Theatre founding director, the performance will be broadcast live on KIRO-FM. Plan to be in your seats no later than 7:45 pm for a little “studio audience warm-up” prior to the program.
