CANCELLED – Short Stories Live: Many Humble Returns
Directed by Wier Harman
Fresh off Town Hall’s first ever Writer’s Festival, Volume 1: Humble Beginnings, our Short Stories Live season kickoff will be directed by Wier Harman. It features stories (and an excerpt) by three of the festival’s most beloved authors: Siddhartha Mukherjee, lauded for his graceful way with scientific prose in works like The Emperor of All Maladies and Song of the Cell; the witty and perceptive Sloane Crosley, whose works (I Was Told There’d Be Cake, the new Cult Classic) offer master classes in cringe; and local luminary Ted Chiang, who crafts meticulously “soulful science fiction” (The New Yorker) that collapses complex questions into compact packages.
Performer lineup coming soon!
Presented by Town Hall Seattle.
