Short Stories Live: Emerald City Blues
Curated by Claudia Castro Luna

Our Short Stories Live series returns! Each installment invites a guest curator to select a theme and develop a program of live readings performed by local actors. In this installment, directed by Kaytlin McIntyre, Washington State Poet Laureate Claudia Castro Luna has curated readings by contemporary Seattle writers reflecting on identity and uncertainty in our changing city.

Luna’s selection of readings draws inspiration from her poem “Emerald City Blues,” drawing us together for an afternoon of art including selections by Tyrone Beason, Elissa Washuta and Ramon Isao, and Claudia Castro Luna herself, as well as other local poets. Sit in for moving readings centered on identity and personal exploration in Seattle.

Presented by Town Hall Seattle.
