After a sold out lecture last season, xkcd’s Randall Munroe returns with another entertaining, educational talk. A former NASA employee and “What If?” columnist, Munroe’s latest book Thing Explainer breaks down the objects around us into, quite literally, the simplest of words. Microwaves become “food-heating-radio-boxes,” bridges are “tall roads,” and space stations are, for those that live there, “shared space houses.” Learn about the basic components of objects we use every day–and laugh out loud–when Munroe appears in conversation with “The Internet Guy” Hank Green.
