Every year, Betty Siegel works with a dedicated team to put on the Kennedy Center’s Leadership Exchange in Arts and Disability (LEAD) conference. LEAD brings experienced and new professionals together to explore practical methods for implementing accessibility in cultural environments. Professionals share resources and knowledge, develop best practices, and experience accessibility in action. Siegel joins us at Town Hall for a dynamic presentation sharing useful tools for cultural administrators to create and strengthen their organization’s access plan. Sit in for an interactive session with opportunities to network, brainstorm, and ask questions about the future of accessibility implementation.
Betty Siegel has specialized in arts and disability issues for over 30 years starting at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. and now as Director of VSA and Accessibility at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
