Big or small, life is about journeys—at least, that’s how award-winning author Geoff Dyer views it. Building on the themes he established in Yoga for People Who Can’t Be Bothered to Do It, Dyer’s White Sands chronicles different journeys he’s undertaken in the past. Whether successful or not, each trip holds some life lesson for him. He’ll appear in conversation with author David Shields for an exploration of where he’s been, what it was he set out to find, and where he still wants to go. For anyone who has (or may some day) take a pilgrimage, Dyer has a few tips that might change the way you view the expedition.
