Nuclear Energy Brings Hope

Nuclear Energy provides carbon free, reliable, safe energy. Seattle Friends of Fission is a grassroots organization that works to educate and dispel myths, misinformation, and science denialism on nuclear energy. Seattle Friends of Fission promotes talks with experts, encourages dialogue, and regularly meets to accomplish these goals. Hang out with them at this exciting panel discussion and talk about it!

Speakers Include

Dr. James Conca – Geo-environmental scientist and Trustee of the Herbert M. Parker Foundation, specializing in nuclear waste, and an EPA/State environmental consultant

Scott Montgomery – Geoscientist and energy policy expert on faculty at the Jackson School of International studies – UW and is a New York Times recognized author

Dr. Nick Touran – Nuclear Engineer who has been interviewed on NPR’s Science Friday, and is working on next generation nuclear design for nuclear innovation company, Terra-Power
