Moving Art presents the Seattle premiere screening of the film Fantastic Fungi, an awe-inspiring visual journey through the exotic, little-known realm of fungi and its amazing potential to positively influence our lives. Embark on a life-affirming and mind-bending journey, narrated by Brie Larson, as an all-star team of professional and amateur mycologists, artists, foodies, ecologists, doctors, and explorers joins forces with time-lapse master Louie Schwartzberg to explore the world of mushrooms and their mysterious interwoven rootlike filaments called mycelium.
“Schwartzberg’s film quickly proves to be one of the year’s most mind-blowing, soul-cleansing and yes, immensely entertaining triumphs.”
