How do you stop a rogue president? Our constitution offers one remedy: impeachment.
In conversation with fellow congressman Denny Heck, Congressman Eric Swalwell joins us with a livestreamed account of his path to office, and how he and his colleagues resisted, investigated, and impeached the 45th president. Drawing from his book Endgame: Inside the Impeachment of Donald J. Trump, he examines how the impeachment intersects with subsequent revelations, John Bolton’s refusal to testify, the COVID-19 pandemic, police reform and racial justice issues, and more. He invites us inside Congress to witness extraordinary events, and with unique knowledge, presents a look forward at how those events may impact the 2020 election.
