Earshot Jazz presents
Earshot Jazz Showcase
Jacqueline Tabor, Marina Albero, Mandyck/ Johnson/ Bishop

Earshot Jazz comes to Town Hall to present the first of two Seattle showcases, with performances by three Seattle jazz icons. First Jacqueline Tabor, winner of the Seattle-Kobe Sister City Association Female Jazz Vocalist Award, takes the stage with her iconic bluesy vocals. Then dynamic pianist and percussionist Marina Albero creates a soundscape of blended musical styles carved by personal experience. And Origin Records all-star trio Rick Mandyck, Jeff Johnson, and John Bishop bring us a stylish convergence of saxophone, bass, and drums. Between sets, saxophonist Stuart MacDonald takes the stage with Trace Generations, bringing together veterans and up-and-comers alike. Pull up a seat for a masterful exhibition featuring powerhouses from the Seattle jazz community.

The 31st Annual Earshot Jazz Festival celebrates the art form’s leading edges and cultural heritage. For 33 days, jazz greats from around the world and renowned resident artists come together to create, share, improvise, explore, collaborate, and swing.
