Town Hall Seattle and The Bushwick Book Club Seattle present
An Evening of Music Inspired by Matt Haig’s “The Midnight Library”
The Magic and Mystery of the Midnight Library, Told Through Music

Town Hall is proud to partner with The Bushwick Book Club Seattle for its twelfth mainstage season presenting concerts of original music inspired by literature. Each event showcases a lineup of local, professional musicians and artists each offering a fresh response to that evening’s source text, plus extras like an audience quiz, short film, or scholarly introduction. Book choices range from whimsical to solemn, classic to contemporary, and most every place in between.

This event will feature original music and art inspired by Matt Haig’s The Midnight Library.

Not quite dead and not quite alive, Nora awakes in a library unlike any other: infinite shelves of books, each detailing a different life she might have led — and only one leading the way out.

Performers include Intisaar, Kate Olson, Nick Droz, Matt Price, Kate Berreth, Rob Arnold, Bridget Quigg, Jed Crisologo, Kevin Hyde, Peter Donovan, and Nottingham/Wicks with Nick Allison.

“A beguiling read, filled with warmth and humour, and a vibrant celebration of the power of books to change lives.” –Sunday Times
