Get ready for a science lesson that feels like a party! Brains On, the wildly popular podcast for kids, is hitting the road to celebrate their 10th birthday with a hilarious science-themed show that takes the audience on an adventure through our brains. Hosts Molly Bloom, Marc Sanchez and Sanden Totten will be there with magic tricks, dance moves, out-of-body experiences, mystery sounds, and even a game show! All the while, kids (and their grown-ups) learn how our brains take a handful of signals from the eyes and ears and turn them into a vibrant picture of the world.

Can you believe that Brains On! is turning ten? To celebrate we are throwing ourselves a BIRTHDAY PARTY right after the live show and YOU are invited! This won’t be just any party. You will get to meet Molly, Marc and Sanden in person, and they’ll be playing fun games with you, acting goofy (of course), posing for photos and giving out special Brains On! goody bags. You can gain access to this VSP (very special party) by purchasing a VIP pass when you buy your show tickets. See you there.

About the Hosts

Molly Bloom is the host of Brains On! She also hosts our spin-off show, Smash Boom Best. Molly loves finding out about the way things work — whether it’s a glass factory or our brains or molecular bonds. She likes playing piano, sings in a choir and wishes that people would break into song and dance like they do in the musicals that she loves. She was always the shortest one in her class and has worn glasses since the third grade.

Marc Sanchez is a Brains On producer. He gets a kick out of music, technology, and writing. If he’s not playing drums or concocting noises for Brains On!, you might see him in ridiculous, Day-Glo clothing, running around the lakes and rivers of Minnesota or scouring the city in search of the world’s best burrito. You have his permission to sneak up behind him and scream, “Brains On!” if you ever see him in a taqueria.

Sanden Totten writes and reports for Brains On! His favorite subjects are obviously dinosaurs and space, but he really enjoys studying the brain and the environment too. He has a rad collection of comic books, he can jump a curb on a skateboard and his favorite food is sushi. If you see him around, say hi and ask for a high five.

About the Podcast

Brains On!® is an award-winning audio show for kids and families. Each week, a different kid co-host joins Molly Bloom to find answers to fascinating questions about the world. Our mission is to encourage kids’ natural curiosity and wonder using science and history…but there’s no age limit on curiosity and episodes of Brains On can be enjoyed by anyone.
