Bern H memorial

Gather in celebration of the life and music of Bern Herbolsheimer who recently passed away in Seattle. Composer, pianist, and dedicated teacher (at Cornish College and the University of Washington), Mr. Herbolsheimer has more than 500 compositions spanning nearly all the classical genres. This multi-genre program includes performances by Opus 7 vocal ensemble (under the direction of Loren Ponten); St. Helen’s Quartet; Christina Siemens (at the piano); and other instrumentalists and vocalists. They’ll pay tribute to his musical legacy by performing some of his choral and chamber works. Following the concert will be a reception where his colleagues and friends can share memories.
