Author Eric Liu envisions a civic revival in our nation, a country in which Americans are steeped in a sense of civic character and educated in the tools of civic power. Liu joins us with thoughts from his book Become America, which collects 19 of his civic sermons—reflections on democracy, liberty, equal justice, and civic life delivered at Civic Saturdays in Seattle and beyond. Join Eric to examine the growing community need to gather face-to-face, reflect on what it means to be an active citizen, and answer the call to rehumanize our politics.
Eric Liu is the founder and CEO of Citizen University and executive director of the Aspen Institute Citizenship and American Identity Program.
