National security expert August Cole’s new novel Ghost Fleet takes today’s technology trends and offers a lens into the future–one filled with cyber war, hack attacks, and drone strikes. Pitting China against America in a battle of politics mixed with technology, Cole draws on his years as a defense industry reporter for Wall Street Journal to inform this fictional, “plausible, frightening, and pitch-perfect vision” (Admiral James Stavridis) of warfare. Cole will share highlights of the technology involved and explain why it might be more realistic than we think.
