The author of four novels, Emily St. John Mandel writes about fame, immortality, art, and the unexpectedness of life. Her most recent work, Station Eleven, follows a small group of actors making their way through the world, after a pandemic that changed everything, and explores the interconnectedness we all share. She’ll offer a glimpse at her creative process and the inspiration behind this National Book Award-nominated work. Mandel (The Singer’s Gun, Last Night in Montreal) is a staff writer for The Millions.
