Acclaimed singer/songwriter Cris Williamson joins the Seattle Peace Chorus for an evening of music celebrating women’s rights and social justice on the eve of the national election. Williamson is a pioneer of “women’s music” whose albums became the soundtrack for a movement; she performs many of her most-loved songs, along with new arrangements premiering with the chorus. Also on the program: Grammy Award-winning singer/musician Nancy Rumbel (Tingstad and Rumbel), and original works by Seattle composer-songwriter Carol Sams and other female composers. Presented by Seattle Peace Chorus.
Tickets are $25 at www.brownpapertickets.com. Great Hall; enter on Eighth Avenue.

Can’t wait to see this legendary feminist music icon perform with the Seattle Peace Chorus. It promises to be an evening of celebratory music—plus, donations collected at the concert will benefit the Women’s Funding Alliance. Not to be missed!
