Dolphins aren’t just beloved; they are brilliant, conscious, and self-aware—so why do we treat them so terribly? In The Dolphin in the Mirror, Diana Reiss, an expert on dolphin intelligence, a dolphin advocate, and an adviser for the film The Cove, shows just how smart dolphins are—her “mentor” dolphins create toys, use underwater keyboards, and tease and scold her—and why we must stop the brutal “dolphin runs” in Japan and improve conditions for captive dolphins. Presented as part of Seattle Science Lectures, with Pacific Science Center and University Book Store. Series sponsored by Microsoft. Series media sponsorship provided by KPLU.
Tickets are $5 at Brown Paper Tickets or 800/838-3006, or at the door beginning at 6:30 pm. Town Hall members receive priority seating.

I think that the best way to make people conscious about the care and consideration we should have about dolphins is with information and education. It is great that you are doing this kind of events.
