Town Hall launches its exciting 2012-13 season with a classical trio so bursting with youth, energy, and talent, we might need a new lid on our nearly 100-year-old building. TownMusic series artistic director and audience favorite Joshua Roman is joined in a program of piano trios by Vancouver Symphony Orchestra concertmaster/violinist Dale Barltrop, who’s been called “not only a tremendous violinist and a great classical artist, [but] also a devoted advocate of music,” and Victor Santiago Asuncion, recognized as a pianist of innate musical sensitivity, fiery temperament, and superb technique. The program will include works by Beethoven, Schubert, and Visconti. Part of the TownMusic series presented by Town Hall, curated by Joshua Roman.
Advance tickets are $20/$17 seniors and Town Hall members/$10 age 25 and under at townhallseattle.org or 888/377-4510. $25/$22 /$10 at the door.
