James K. Galbraith
Understanding Inequality in America and the World

James Galbraith

University of Texas professor James Galbraith (The End of Normal) examines economic trends in a national and global context, explaining that what starts as growing inequality, transforms into the destabilization of local and international economies and in turn, causes the type of “runaway inequality” seen today. He’ll analyze the root causes of these trends–technology booms, income inequality, bad public policy, and other factors–and offer advice on how average citizens can combat this war of economics.
