The Bushwick Book Club Seattle is not your run-of-the-mill book club: This West Coast chapter of the Brooklyn original is made up of local songwriters who plumb the depths of a literary gem, then write and perform original songs about it. Similarly, Seattle Rock Orchestra is a far-from-typical orchestra, collaborating with notable local artists and bands to produce one-of-a-kind symphonic shows. The two groups come together for the first time to perform music inspired by Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Featured artists include Ian Williams, Hannah Williams, Noah Gunderson, Galen Green, Emily Westman, Alex Guy, Tai Shan, Bucket of Honey, Mike Votava, Andrew Nunez, Jason Dodson, Scott Teske, and Geoff Larson. Presented by Bushwick Book Club and Seattle Rock Orchestra.
